Dr. Mutura Senior Lecturer and holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies from Africa International University, a Master of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies from same University and a Bachelor of Education degree from Kenyatta University. He is an expert in Biblical Hebrew and Koine Greek. His research interests are social-rhetorics, socialization and social identification of individuals and societies as well as ethnicity and ethnic group dynamics from a biblical perspective. His robust research interests in Africa has seen Stellenbosch University in South Africa, appoint him as their Research Associate, a position given to distinguished scholars. He is a consultant and trains translators for The Word for the World translation agency that works in Zambia, Zimbabwe and Tanzania, Malawi and DRC Congo.
He is the Executive Director, Hesabika Trust. Previously he was a lecturer at PAC University where he also chaired the department of Biblical and Theological Studies. He has also lectured in Karatina University and Kenyatta University for many years. Besides, he has great wealth of experience in both teaching and management at the University level as well as from the International NGO world where he is a board member.
