There is no better place than home!
It’s true!
You can go thousands of miles away or just a few steps to your neighbor. But home is still the best.
No matter where you are, there’s something that leaves you nostalgic about your home country. Our home country is known for its warm welcome that both visitors and those returning home live to tell for years. In some countries you would be suspected if you greeted a passer-by. Back home however it is awkward to pass someone without a short greeting. Our home, located at the greater horn of Africa, is a beautiful land, the home to the Pride of Africa® and Olympic champions.
Kenya without a doubt is a must-visit country with many tour destinations. Kenyans love their country. In fact, there has been an increase in the number of local tourists in all the fifty four National parks and reserves. The peace has also returned after several terrorist attacks at the coast and the capital Nairobi. It is once again the most peaceful place in the wild of Sahara. Tribalism too is fading away and the youth are at the front line of wiping it out by sharing cultures and ideas, irrespective of whom they share it with. Despite corruption wounding her, Kenya and her loving citizens are fighting back. A more dependable judicial system and a determined government working hard to fight corruption brings hope to many Kenyans living abroad.
I believe I am well on the mark when I say that our diaspora community see Kenya from a distance and are proud of Kenya. And I also believe that when they see pictures of their families back home, they are filled with joy and cherish the Kenyan flag they carried abroad. No one can really put into words what it means to be home. And nobody knows how to say goodbye –it seems so easy till you try. But as long as we are here, Diaspora Interlink® is your link back home.
